Last December, has opened in Milan the new Museum of the twentieth century . Finally, I went to visit with two friends, also because entrance will be free until February 28, 2011. In the museum, as well 400 works trace the art of the twentieth century . The new museum of the City of Milan, in Piazza Duomo Palazzo dell'Arengario, shows the greatest artists of that period, namely: by Boccioni in Balla, Fontana de Chirico, via Manzoni, Sironi, Carra ', Guttuso and Arte Povera .
The works all belong to the Civic Art Collections of the City. The route starts from 'Fourth Estate' by Joseph Pellizza Volpedo , work installed on the spiral ramp built at the center dell'Arengario, and through the art of the whole century, focusing on patterns that were created or have found life to Milan .
From Futurism to the avant-garde, art of the twenties and thirties to abstraction, the spaces of the museum offer sections and monographs artists as Umberto Boccioni, Giorgio de Chirico, Lucio Fontana, Mario Sironi, Giorgio Morandi, Arturo Martini and Carlo Carrà.
The total cost of the museum and the 'state of 28 million €. The collection 'designed by a scientific committee was created specifically for the space in Milan, headed by the Director of Central Culture, Massimo Accarisi , and the Director of Industry Museum of the City of Milan, Claudio Salsi , coordinated by Marina Pugliese , Project Director of the Museum of the twentieth century.

We were in the summer when it left the Jewish law that required the students to leave school. I had finished the third grade, I had to go in the fourth. I do not know right away they did not give me grief. But the autumn mom told me one day, the tone of the one that says something unimportant, "You know, next year you can not go to your school and go to another school where there will be all Jewish children ". For me it was a cold shower, leave the teacher, leaving his teammates. So it was. The beginning was quite difficult, but I made friends with new friends, then little by little I loved to teacher. Anyway I waited with great anxiety the day when there would have been awarding children to public school where I went. Because I had been third in the "prize of the second degree." I deserved an award because I was good at school, on appeal because there was one more clever than me. But I was happy. The award ceremony took place in the middle of the year after and I was expecting the day when I went to collect my prize and to see my teacher and my classmates. The day prior to the awards sounded at the door. RIING ... who will? My mom answers it. Mignon was the janitor of the school, carrying a package containing a book and said - I would describe, small-and fat: "The lady manager sends this award for the girl Elena O.; should not come tomorrow for the awards do not desecrate the schools of the Kingdom of Italy." It 'was the first crowds displeasure of my life. I cried, I cried ... and that book, moreover, was also bad, a book of Greek mythology, fascist. And I cried and screamed. Then my mom tried to console me, saying: "We will make a good party in our house, we will make the award." He did come all the aunts who pretended to be the patrons and all the little cousins who were small and did not understand, and each had a small prize, the mother trial was put on the floor so we did a really great party home. But that was the greatest regret, my first great sorrow.
In what was then a small distillery in the arcades Piazza Duomo in Milan, purchased five years earlier (1910), Gaspare Campari and his wife Letizia invented the most famous Italian aperitif in the world.
They called it''bitter'' use of Hollandia, a ruby-red drink and a slightly bitter aftertaste that made their fortune and that of the room, the Camparino, the classic bar in Milan (now Zucca) , a must for those who want to rediscover the lost atmosphere, sip an aperitif in the famous original recipe or shortly after their marriage come to toast ''cent'anni di felicità''.
Tre i segreti della mescita: il bicchiere lungo e sottile evitava la dispersione dell'aroma, fresco al punto giusto (quando il ghiaccio era ancora portato a spalla ai vari caffè), e spruzzato di acqua gasata, but only on the surface, to sample the colors from lightest to most intense.
You must instead Tilde Beduschi, wife of Hector Zucca, a pioneer company that bears his name, the invention of the famous Rhubarb , from a recipe that her doctor had prescribed for relieve digestive disorders. Carlo Zucca, founder of the brand, began the industrial production of the drink, which became the symbol of Milan's fine.
still bars in Milan are always advisers of worship all over the Milanese aperitif , conosciuto ormai come Happy Hour , ed hanno inventato negli anni novanta il celebre slogan ''la Milano da Bere'' .
Nella sezione Verso la Porta dell’Inferno sono presentati, oltre a due rarissimi e preziosi bozzetti, some of the works that made immortal Rodin, The Thinker as , Ugolino, Falling Man, Eternal Spring, The Kiss, The Woman crouching, Fugit Amor, the adolescent desperate to finish with the three shades, and the two sculptures of Adam and Eve.
In the showroom of wood instead of the Bank is exposed to a photographic cycle portraying the works of Camille Claudel and Auguste Rodin .
The exhibition relates the story of two sculptors and art lovers.
What a steaming cup of coffee is a ritual and pleasure that we Italians, and now even many foreigners, we can not give up. Especially in the morning before leaving your home or around 10.00, when it becomes an excuse to escape for a few minutes from the pace of the day, it must be good and rewarding.
The origins of coffee, understood as drink are quite controversial. There are even those who say that the drink is already in the times of Homer ! In any event, the first records date back to the fifteenth century and refer to the area dell'odierno Yemen, da dove si diffuse poi in tutto il mondo arabo.
now coffee is a way of life for all of us and has become a pleasant daily habit.
report here an article published in La Repubblica today .......
CGIL: "With 100 000 assumptions the state would save 500 million"
The calculations of the cost of the review mechanism of the lists of deputies e sui posti che si renderanno presto disponibili.
Per questo Therefore, the union launched 'Operation 100 000, through which asks the government to take an indefinite period 60 000 40 000 teachers and Ata (administrative, technical and auxiliary) in the next three years. Meanwhile, he runs quickly to share the number of 20 000 temporary schools that are joining the class action brought by Codacons against the Ministry of Education, asking for a transformation of the indefinite term contract done for years.
The thesis of the review of Serra via savings in case of temporary stabilization of the day, was not subject to any denial from the Viale Trastevere. Counts were obtained in a sign that something is true by the CGIL. "The minister Gelmini has always justified the policy hitherto pursued by the government on grounds of incompatibility and economic savings ... but is it really a savings for the state to appoint temporary staff until June 30? "asks provocatively FLC CGIL." The married is not: the state would save if otherwise. "And he explains why.
For an alternate until the end of classes (June 30), and in Italy there are about 100,000 a year, the state pays out more than it spends on an alternate year, in charge until August 31. In the first case, including salary, leave, severance pay and unemployment benefits, are joined by more than 30 000 € gross in the second case 29 000 and 500. "In the next three years - makes clear the union - will retire approximately 70 000 teachers with a pay band average of 28/35 years, with a cost that "is about about three billion." "If instead they were given a corresponding number of teachers with its rebuilding career - he concludes - the cost would be two billion and a half with saving, however, for the State of € 500 million.
But is it really possible to employ 100 temporary workers in three years? The calculations made by CGIL is simple. Between retirements and vacancies, 1 September next, there will be 61,000 posts. While there will be over 38,000 posts janitor, administrative assistant and laboratory technician, without a title. Total: nearly 100 thousand units. The consequences of such a stabilization are evident: more and more stable organic didactic continuity for pupils. But not only. The schools could finally take advantage of the leverage of autonomy, so far remained on paper.
But the precarious, to be hired, also travel the road that leads to court. On November 24 the law came into force on the strenuous work that, among many others, also contains a provision "contra personam." That is against the insecure, including those of the school. Article 32 of the Act provides for two things: that an employee who intends to challenge the fixed-term contract must do so within 60 days from the date of entry into force of the law in question, by January 22 next year, and that "in cases of conversion of fixed-term contract, the court condemns the employer to pay the worker by providing comprehensive compensation by between a minimum of 2.5 and a maximum of 12 month, "which for the school's precarious drops to only six months.
E 'the EU Directive 1999/70/EC which requires Member States to "introduce into their national laws adequate rules to prevent and punish any abuse in the succession of fixed-term employment contracts", explained by Codacons. But Italy is in effect a rule that condemns an alternate school in a precarious indefinitely. Although the Supreme Court has recently stated that "the employment contract is concluded for an indefinite period of rule."
last year, using the combination of all the rules in force in our country, are several alternates who have obtained a reasonable compensation by the courts, and even last November, the Court of Siena "has gone - Codacons says - to declare the automatic transformation of a contract of a teacher who six times had been hired earlier this year and then fired at the end of the school, from temporary contracts to permanent contracts. " But a few days later came the law "against the precarious", that does not have to spend next January 22 to reserve the possibility di ottenere risarcimento e assunzione forzosa.
Interview with Giulia Maria Crespi Mozzoni, Honorary President of FAI, on Rai International
"Italy is the most beautiful country in the world and that is why all lovers of beauty as the foundation should support FAI (Italian Environment Fund) that every day, are committed to protecting our unique heritage of art and nature.
"All our national parks - continues the Honorary President of FAI - run the risk of closure because no money to pay staff, prevent fires, prevent wild speculation, safeguard animals and biodiversity.
is not the great glories of imperial Rome, or Florence the early Renaissance and even the romantic Venice and languid half of the year to be given to tourists U.S. bensì Milano .
And if the followers of fashion are still crowded before the windows of Miu Miu and Marni, indicated as the major fashion news of the city, there to be a draw for guests demanding also the Hotel Milano Scala opened last year with the promise of "eco-chic" of hospitality with zero emissions.
If at the top half of the year as the newspaper of the Big Apple indicate the Chilean capital, Santiago , the place of honor there are San Juan Islands, in Walsh, U.S. territory. In the small island of Koh Samui Thailand , is shown in third place with its beaches, while the entire Iceland is given as a fourth ideal year just before Milan , albeit with a premise: given the huge tourism troika made in Italy in Rome-Florence-Venice the city of Lombardy is always a second-choice, although thanks to the design of the popular places here and there in the city, his face is changing.
Cadi, ti rialzi , ci riprovi. Magari con più consapevolezza. Ma quando, poi, impari a stare in equilibrio ... then it's nice to feel the wind in your hair. and heart .

Just this morning, at school, came this "bombshell" which many in the industry (and gentlemen, I mean) already know.
Once again we are faced with the desire not to get this information through official sources. We meet a few days before the expiry of the appeal, have to understand, organize, spreading further this initiative, which seems to give some hope to those who, like me, now lives in public schools for years and hopes to be taken indefinitely .
reading news about it here and there I formed an idea of the thing, frankly, I want to communicate without too outspoken.
educational forums on the net that there are trade unions have deliberately hijacked the basic demands of the many people who wrote to find out more detailed information regarding this action, also many posts have been closed and was started a real sorting unions. I examined the home pages of the major unions of the school and many have written very clearly that to get detailed information about it should make an appointment at the union headquarters to discuss the matter in question.
me everything seemed just a ploy to extort money from members and those who were taken from the hustle of having to fill out the application, have decided to join this or that union. The site of
to those who read this post this information as widely as possible so that the most precarious can participate in the appeal in time (the deadline is scheduled for January 22, 2011!). Thanks;)

Thank you very much, friends and blogger friends, I have sent my best wishes for a Happy New Year!
I'm sorry (and I apologize) for failing to respond immediately to all of you, because I was on vacation.
However replacement with a huge hug. From now on I will return to manage my simple blog and I hope to continue to have with you throughout the year 2011,''the usual simple conversations.''
Just a few days ago I reflected on the fact that during this holiday, I almost never thought of my students, I almost never went back to the idea of school. It will be the fatigue of teaching at first, I said to myself ......
Yet today, a bomb , I found myself with the mind invaded by "thinking schools": the programming end, the activities to be proposed to return to the tasks assigned to correct, the remaining consonants to be presented to children, the forthcoming meeting with parents, teachers of the college mid-month, plans to start (without economic rewards, of course!) ..... aiutooooooooooooo!
remember what is written in this post ...... fall, after many days of vacation, it is always complicated. But I'll make it again this year, I'm sure;)
Yet, if I have to be honest, there's something I just can not stand, one thing that bothers me just thinking that I brings anxiety, which makes me heart beat every time, even after 14 years of teaching. What is this? I tell you now: exit from school.
sounds silly, but I assure you return the children after school is something creepy!
At 16.30 our brains, and that of my children, boiling and expect there'm not only parents, too easy! We must be careful to employees of the bus to which entrust certain children and be careful not to lose the others who are in a row. Then, once in court, must be careful to moms and dads, grandparents, uncles, brothers of majority, the delegates, the baby-sitter, her colleague who has your same shift, the mother dell'amichetto heart that day invited to his home the child from "withdraw" the anxious mother, always, every single day, has any communication from you (always urgent, too!) , the grandmother who comes and makes you: "Master, oh, where is my nephew, I am sure that her teacher is her, I remember his face, his eyes!" and to which you have to explain, quickly, while those that remained to be returned to you are trying to escape from relatives occurring in the meantime, his grandson attends another class (in the meantime, however, you took a hit because the very thought of you lost a child gives tachycardia). E 'its complicated, I swear! Even more so if it's raining outside and umbrellas from seeing clearly the faces of people who arrived in the yard. And then, not the only class we have to leave school at 16.30?!?! There are about 500 pupils from having to return, not pizza and figs! And that responsibility, then.
Yet there who now can live peacefully, with a smile ....... blessed her !!!:)))
(specifying that is not my intention to advertise the car in question:)
