Call of Venice to the whole movement: GLOBAL BEACH 09
We Want Our Money Back
1st to September 13th, the Lido of Venice is not only synonymous with the Film Festival. Global Beach is returning, in its fourth edition. Global Beach is a beach owned by the military property, abandoned to decay for fifteen years, which since 2004 has temporarily occupied during the Festival. Global Beach does not mean only the possibility of camping in a cheap Lido inaccessible to most people, the space where you can breathe a different atmosphere than the glossy surface of official event to take part in cultural activities or where independent and quality. In times of crisis and attack the government on culture, entertainment, research and training, our ambition is that Global Beach will become a unique opportunity to meet, exchange and mobilization of different experiences with each other, but at the same time able to connect to a logic of power and innovation. We are talking about experiences such as the tidal wave of students, the labor movement that is challenging the show cuts to FUS, which has already indicated the Venice Film Festival as a key event of temporary workers and the galaxy of the great institutions Venetian cultural, including the "temporary" that the Biennale, Sunday, July 26, gave birth for the first time in a partecipatissimo strike just before the gates of the exhibition. Global Beach, therefore, in terms of the Wave, it should be a first moment of encounter between the wave of insecurity and other cultural experiences that are deeply inside that the overall movement of sale of live work that affects cognitive also fully 'universities.
Our movement, in contrast, was characterized from the outset for its generalization ability and the central role assumed by the question of income, beyond, dunque, il tradizionale studentismo.
Onda Anomala Venice
